Our Leadership Team

Andre Carvalho

Chief Executive Officer

Andre Carvalho was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cystic Fibrosis Community Care (CFCC) in May 2022. 

Andre has extensive leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector in Australia and the UK. Prior to CFCC, Andre was CEO of Inclusion Foundation - a national NDIS organisation working to champion the lives of people with Down syndrome.  He has also led Bully Zero,  a national bullying prevention and online safety organisation; and Sands Australia – a national bereavement organisation providing support to families following the death of a baby.

Andre is passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of his team, encouraging open communication and actively driving conversation around resilience. He is known for his collaborative, genuine and honest leadership style.

Andre holds a BA in Human Resources and Marketing from London South Bank University.

David Camilleri

Head of Shared Services

David has broad experience across business operations and leadership, and with a particular interest in the financial services, Information Technology, and health sectors.

While at MedHealth as the Group Executive General Manger, David developed and launched a new startup, mi-Support, offering business and support services to healthcare, legal and corporate customers, thus enabling better health outcomes. Before this he was the company’s Chief Information Officer and Director of Operational Services.

David worked with IBM, CPA Australia and IOOF and has led numerous, high-level infrastructure overhauls encompassing organisational, operational, and technological change. Most recently David moved across to the NFP sector, heading up operations for the Australian College of Perioperative Nurses.

David is a certified ISO auditor in Quality, OHS and Information Security. He completed a Bachelor of Computer Science at RMIT and has completed post studies in Leadership, Business Management, Auditing and Program Management.


Stephanie Quattromani

Head of Programs and Services

Stephanie is a trained genetic counsellor, having worked across general, prenatal, and renal clinics in New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Macquarie University and a Masters of Genetic Counselling from the University of Technology Sydney. Stephanie’s thesis investigated a system which used face-matching technology to diagnose children with developmental disorders, which was presented at conferences including the Human Genetics Society of Australasia.

In addition to her clinical experience, Stephanie has worked extensively in the field of medical research as the Director of Research and Investments and Chief of Staff for an Australian-based non-profit organisation which she later helped to expand to the USA. During this time, Stephanie launched the world’s largest brain cancer-dedicated Clinical Accelerator fund to support biotechnology companies, researchers and industry partners to progress therapies into clinic. She also worked on an advocacy campaign for Australians to receive equitable access to treatments, resulting in the listing of bevacizumab on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme for patients with glioblastoma.

Stephanie has also worked as a consultant for global charities, such as the National Foundation for Cancer Research in Washington D.C. where she supported the launch of an international award that recognises women-leaders in the field of oncology.
